Individuals will have the opportunity to learn many different skills associated with our non-riding equines. Individuals will learn equine handling skills necessary to safely halter, lead and groom our donkeys, as well as skills needed to work in and around the farm.  In addition to learning equine skills, participants will learn practical life skills that they can use in their day to day lives. These skills include proper dress, time management, improved communication and listening skills, just to name a few. There are also opportunities to accompany the donkeys as they go “On The Road” visiting area elder-care residences, schools, the Newport Farmers Market and a variety of area parades and community events.
